About

Duncan

Hi, I’m Duncan.

Thrive Conversion Boost was borne out of my own frustration inside another business I run.

I realised that I was losing about 68% of my shopping cart visitors.

They had got to the cart, they’re interested, maybe about to buy…

And then they abandoned.

Walked away.

Maybe they got distracted. The kids screamed. The boss called. The WiFi froze.

Maybe they wanted to think about it.

But then it slipped their minds. We all do it. Life gets in the way.

And they never came back.

So I realised I needed to take their name and email details before they got to the shopping cart page.

Because then I could develop the relationship with them as an almost-client. Effectively as a cart-abandoned lead.

(FYI putting an email follow-up process in place for cart abandoned leads normally improves sales conversion by more than 5%).

So I needed to take their name and email, and then pass them to the shopping cart.

OK. ThriveThemes made that first part easy enough. Now, the sales page has the lead-capture form on it.

The visitor fills in that form, with their name and email address, they click the button, and then go to the shopping cart page…

But then the shopping cart page was empty, and also asking for their name and email address…

Again!

Not good. Frustrating for the customer. Imagine that was you, buying. You’ve just entered your name and email address, and then you’re asked to enter your name and email address again, immediately after…

Urghgh!

So I needed to get ThriveThemes to pass the name and email into the ThriveCart shopping cart, and pre-fill their name and email on that page.

Not possible, without some clever coding. ThriveThemes and ThriveCart don’t talk directly to each other in this way.

So I had to get a Programmer to help me out, to build a bridge between the two systems.

It took a few days of communication and digging into the problem to work with my Programmer, to find the right variables and code, to get a working bridge script.

A bridge between ThriveThemes and ThriveCart.

To take the lead pre-cart, and then to pre-fill the shopping cart form.

And this bridge script is Thrive Conversion Boost.

Because I realised there are plenty of other people like me, that need this. That think Thrive Themes is great at creating pages and opt-in forms. That think ThriveCart is a great shopping cart system.

But that wish the 2 could talk.

So here is Thrive Conversion Boost for you.

To take the lead pre-cart. And then pre-fill the shopping page form with their name and email address.

There is a money back guarantee that comes with it, if you’re worried in any way. You can see that all on the home page.
